The story of two guys and a bar

Karaoke Kong is the age-old tale of two guys that wanted to open their own bar and restaurant. Both Herman and Ewoudt have successful corporate careers, but their full-time corporate jobs just simply weren’t enough.

Seeing a gap in the market, Ewoudt and Herman invested their life savings and tried to realise a dream that almost every man must have had in some stage in their lives.

Karaoke Kong reflects the witty and upbeat personality of this dynamic duo and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Our Team

You’re only as good as your weakest link. Luckily for us, there is no weak link when it comes to the Karaoke Kong team. Our team is led by an extremely capable leader, Jonathan Georgiades. With over 10 years of managing various different bars & restaurants, Jonathan (or Georgie) ensures the team are always performing at a consistent level and treat all customers with the same level of care and consideration. With some of the most helpful and caring waiter, bartender and security team members, you can rest assure you and your party are left in capable hands.

Our Decor & Design

We made a karaoke bar inspired by 1980s music and video games. The design team created a fun, nostalgic atmosphere with special touches throughout the space. Our LED Boom box shop front helps people understand what Karaoke Kong is all about. Inside, we have unique graffiti tables and a custom-made bar with the word ‘SING’ in 3D letters. The pink LED light wall and retro TV sets with tropical leaves add to the atmosphere. Singing is the main focus of our energetic space.
